Description
This will adapt a Holley Sniper 1100 to the 1500's factory ZS intake. The adapter also has a built-in 3° taper that will mount the Sniper at the slight upward angle. This solves any issues with the fuel pooling in the throttlebody and running out of it's mouth.
You will need to remove the (2 carb mounting studs from the factory intake and instead use (2) Ø5/16"-24x ½" long flat head machine screws. If you can't find flat head screws, you can print (2) of the conical washers in order to use regular bolts.
I'm not sure if the factory throttle bracket that mounts to the intake will still work with this due to the added thickness compared to the factory carb isolation spacer, but if it doesn't, it shouldn't be too difficult to make a plate that will move the bracket the little bit.
I would print it out of something that can withstand both the heat of the nearby exhaust manifold and the gasoline that will come into contact with it.
