Description
This quick print can turn your watch into an expedition ready survival tool. Replace your boring leather or fabric strap with this durable and multipurpose paracord strap.
Print two of the adapter pieces and both parts of the buckle. The two endlink adapters fit between 17 mm lugs and can be rescaled for any other spacing (Formula: (100%/17)*[your spacing]). Drill out the holes in the adapters to fit the springbars. Connect each adapter to one side of the buckle with a paracord weave of your choosing - I used the classic survival bracelet style. Adjust the length to fit your wrist and enjoy! You can also just use the buckle for a simple bracelet.
I used PETG for better durability than PLA. Print each part of the buckle flat side down and the adapters upside down so as to avoid overhangs. No supports needed, infill 100% for strength and flexibility.
