Description

This is the version 2 of my stackable box (SB) system. In order to use the lids, hinged lids and dividers with the stackable boxes, you will need this version 2 system, as they will not fit on the version 1 system.

These dividers come in various widths and heights.

The codes for these files are explained in the chart below:

SBD = Stackable Box Divider
E20  = 20mm Hight (fit against end)
E30  = 30mm Hight (fit against end)
D20  = 20mm Hight (fit against divider)
D30  = 30mm Hight (fit against divider)
1E-7E = Width of divider (From End Guide Lengths).
1D-7D = Width of divider (To Divider Guide Lengths).

Example 1: SBD1E20-1D30 (1E20 = 20mm left side height (from end) with 1 guide width / 1D30 = 30mm right side height (to divider) with 1 guide width) a total of 2 guides will fit inside 4" (100mm) / 6" (150mm) / 8" (200mm) size boxes.

Example 2: SBD2E30-5D20 (2E30 = 30mm left side height (from end) with 2 guide width / 5D20 = 20mm right side (to divider) with 5 guide width) a total of 7 guides will fit inside a 8" (200mm) size box.

To use slotted dividers with these ETD, there is a certain logic to it. I will guide you here, but there is a hints and tips sheet that gives a full list for you, so you don't need to think what you need to print. Using the 2 examples above you can print the following: Example 1 = 1x 30mm slotted divider + 1x 30mm left guided FTB divider / Example 2 = 0-1x 30mm slotted divider(s) + 1-4x 20mm slotted divider(s) + 1x 30mm left guided FTB divider. The logic to this is within the way I designed the dividers. The total length is designed to fit the left hand side of a guided FTB divider. The left hand height is also designed to fit the left hand side of an FTB divider, therefore the height to the right will go inside the slot. If the double height was switched around (ei left side is now put in the box on the right instead of the left) the same size slotted divider will be used as the logic dictates that the length will now fit to the right side of the FTB divider, meaning nothing has actually changed as the divider is just mirrored. Hoiwever… the 30mm left guided FTB divider will have to be changed to a 30mm right guided FTB divider as everything has been mirrored. To simplify this… The size to the right of the file name is the size slotted divider you will need to put in the guide in the box where the height changes.

The boxes are still stackable with or without lids attached with the dividers inside.

The boxes / lids / hinged lids and dividers are colour coded - Green for 2" depth / Red for 4" depth / Yellow for 6" Depth and Blue for 8" Depth.
