A selection of screen cover options for the K1/K1C/K1 Max and any other printer that shares the same screen model.

I'd previously used someone else's print but decided it was time to do my own. 

There are 2 frames supplied here for use with the plates. The first is how I wanted it for my printer and fits tightly to the screen. Some may find that too tight so I added an alternative looser fitting frame to the set.

A compete cover comprises one top plate and one of the frames. There are four small ledges in the corners to allow for easier assembly and a drop of superglue on each spot when fitting the top panel to your chosen frame. There is also a thin ledge along the inner edge of the frame to more easily locate the top panel when fitting and applying glue. After the glue set on mine in the 4 corners, I went back and added a couple of drops more along the lengths at the back, but that was likely overkill on my part and probably not needed but does make for a solid unit. 

Creating the cover in two printable parts removed any need for supports while also making printing a lot easier, especially for multicolour layer swaps as they look far cleaner and offer better colour options than doing a single print version would have produced.

I prefer to have the option to allow the door to open and close while the cover is left on the printer as I do a lot of wifi prints and consequently ignore the screen a lot of the time. I use a screen tilt print on my printer that guarantees no door contact with the cover so it can be left on semi permanently and only removed on the now rare occasions when needed .

For reference, I have the 2.1 version of the screen tilt in use and the door easily clears the covered screen.
