Description
The Grohe Grotemp Thermostatic Faucet has one glaring problem. The little cap that pushes into the valve that changes the temp of the water is just a rod threaded into plastic. It has broken multiple times. I decided to make one with an M5 nut and bolt instead. This also gives you the advantage of changing the range of the temp without taking apart the whole faucet. You can just use a hex key. Print out of PETG or some other resilient plastic that will not deform from heat. Use snug support just for top of the cap which sits on the build plate. Happy Printing!
Hardware:
1 M5x20 Bolt
1 M5 nut
Edit 9/1/24: Added a file with slightly more tolerance to make it easier to fit. Also has a larger Oring diameter in case the oring you use is a little thicker than OEM.
