The HomeCube - 6mm slot profile alternative

In the HomeCube's original construction I planned 2020 aluminium profiles with a 5 mm T-slot to be used for building the frame. However, after publishing the original file set I received a lot of feedback from users especially from the USA and Asia who had sincere problems obtaining such profiles - seems that they are not easily available outside Europe.
So I adapted a second version that uses 2020 Slot6 profiles (6 mm T-slot) instead. These profiles are available worldwide, so you will have no problems finding them in your country.
Still, there are different Slot6 profiles, and not all of them are usable. Since cubic corner connectors need to be mounted using M5 (or smaller) screws, it is absolutely essential that the profile's middle bore doesn't exceed a width of 4.3 mm (see last picture above).

To use this file set, download it and then replace the parts from the original file set by those with the corresponding part number. Most likely (depending on your HomeCube configuration) you will not need all of the files.
There is one additional file whose number does not correspond with one of the original files: “H1 wall tightening wedge”.  This is a wedge that is needed if using 5 mm wall plates with 6 mm slot profiles. See details in the building instructions PDF.
