3D printable modifications to attach an oscilloscope probe to a low cost magic arm mounted to a Stickvise:
StickviseArmBase: Base that goes between the Stickvise and its jaws, onto which a magic arm can be mounted via M5 threads
probeAdaptor_dovetail (image below, left): Adaptor to attach an oscilloscope probe to the magic arm via the dovetail usually used for dial test indicators. The hole has a slight taper to match the probe, so make sure to insert it the correct way. Might need adjustment for the diameter of your probes.
probeAdaptor_sleeve (image below, right; inside metal clamp): A sleeve around the probe to hold and clamp it in the magic arm dial indicator bore.
armKnob_M5 (image below, left): Replacement knob for the magic arm shipped with knurled knobs (image below, right) that can be unpleasant to tighten.
probeAdaptor_dovetail_angled (image below, left): New version angles the probe 45° so the tip can be maneuvered into tighter spaces and not collide with other probes or their arms. This version also removes the clamping slot so the adaptor can stay attached to the arm while the probe can be taken out and used handheld again, for example.

Update 2025-03-02: Added Stickvise_overbiteJaws
stickvise_overbiteJaws (image below, left): This Stickvise jaw overhangs the aluminium parts of the stickvise to prevent the clamped PCB from colliding with the magic arm bases (as can be seen in the below image on the right).
Update 2025-06-15: Added small magnetic base for magic arm
magicArmMagnetBase: 20mm OD base with M5x0.8 internal thread for magic arm and 6 openings for 5mm diameter magnets. The included STEP file should allow you to easily adapt it to whatever magnets you have on hand. Included 2mm openings to remove the magnets if necessary.
