Wig Stand

Headgear display stand developed to use standard 3/8 inch threaded mounts commonly found on tripods and microphone stands.

Model features three parts and can be assembled in any configuratiom to fit needs.

• The top piece fits most wigs and headgear, and can be covered in a wig cap for grip.
• Extender bars can be stacked for additional height.
• A three legged base with screw holes for mounting and stability.

All pieces use 3D printed 3/8 inch threads. Tolerance for easy, friction free fit is modeled in.

I ended up using a small microphone stand in place of the 3d printed base for added stability for heavier head gear.

Successfully printed in PLA with 3 perimeters and 3% infill, with no supports. Though I'd recommend increasing infill to 15% on extenders and base to add strength and weight.
