Fazua Ride 60 LED Hub Cover

I made this to cut down on glare for my dawn, dusk, and night rides.

PROCEED  WITH CAUTION. DON'T MESS UP YOUR BIKE CONTROL SYSTEM BECAUSE YOU BREAK SOMETHING!

The flap cover is meant for printing in TPU. 

The solid cover has a small lip to snap into place. Your filament, color, and layer choices will determine if the indicator lights show thru the cover. With my red cover, only the magenta and white colors show thru. The green and blue colors do not show at all.

I printed everything at 0.20mm layers. PLA for the install tool. TPU 95A HF at 25% volumetric flow.

INSTALLATION:

1. Lift the hub body evenly out of its recess.
2. Install the install tool under the bottom lip of the hub.
3. Place the top of the cover over the top of the hub.
4. Secure the bottom of the cover into place:
   • SOLID cover: a firm push should snap it into place.
   • FLAP cover: more force is required. Don't be afraid to stretch the TPU into place so that the cover lip catches the hub lip.
