M3 Barrel retention screw housing model for Nerf hobby blasters (16mm OD barrels).

This is a model for the M3 barrel retention screw geometry I use on a lot of my blasters (Alchemist, Foxbat, etc). You can use this model in your CAD program and add it to your own blaster design!

This model can be printed either with the front facing the build plate, or with the back facing the build plate. No supports are needed.

I recommend printing this part with at least 5 walls. 

Hardware needed:

• 1x M3x10mm screw
  • This M3 screw can be longer than 10mm so you can reach the head with a driver, if you have a taller muzzle this part is being integrated into. Do not make it shorter than 10mm.
• 1x M3 square nut
• 1x #4 x 3/8" screw.
  • You can use a #4x3/8", 4-40x3/8", another M3 screw, or pretty much anything of a similar size. This screw is just used to keep the M3 nut attached to the part, and it prevents the nut from rotating.
