Description

3D printed in Black Colorfabb PLA-PHA and the pad is printed in Taulman Bridge. In the pictures you see the first iteration, you'll find the model has changed. I printed the pad small the first time but you can scale it to about 1,3... 1,5... for bigger projectiles and rubbers, just be careful how it's sliced --ideally the thinnest circle in the Pad should be 2 layers thick and each circle steps one layer up (0.2mm) to the top surface-- check your slices and scale according to your layer thickness and nozzle diameter. However, I find it's better to print the pad with rubber filament like NinjaFlex if you can, or make it out of leather, it holds projectiles in the center and provides better accuracy.

The Slingshot itself is an easy print but I recommend at least 3 vertical shells, 5-6 bottom and top layers and 25%+ infill. 'Never Know...

Assembly:

Take two identical rubber bands and simply lasso them to the pad first. Then, the other ends of the rubber bands go through the Slingshot holes and loop around the top of the horns. That's all the assembly, now you need nice projectiles. Be careful ;)

You also have the SketchUp model in the files if you want to modify it.

Enjoy!
