Filament Spool Hook for Deezmaker Bukobot

There are fancy, multi-piece roller assemblies for holding your filament spool, or there is this: a hook. One piece. It snaps onto the frame of your Bukobot, and you're in business. No magic printed bearings or axles. No screws or fasteners of any kind. Seriously. It grips in and around the slots on the frame rails and totally just hangs there.

"But wait, aren't smoothly gliding bearings important for printer performance?"

"Eh, maybe? I don't know... this works, though..."

Think of it this way: if your print head produces enough torque to stuff filament into the heated cup for extrusion, it certainly won't be back-driven by tugging filament off of the spool without a bearing.

I put away the lazy susan (which you can still see in one photo) as this totally works and is what I use now. The lazy susan spins freely, but requires the filament to bend around an extra 90 degrees on the way to the print head. The extra bend was sometimes a problem for me with brittle filament.

This is designed to fit spools with the 2.1" center hole.

This is a sort of big piece, but if you have the printer this fits, you can print this piece.
