Revised iPhone 6/6s Plus Horiz Stand

This is a new version made from scratch, but completely inspired by the original "Iphone 6 Plus Horizontal Stand (Works with or without Case) by jprovidenza".

When I printed out the original and put it on my phone, it was awesome. Great job by jprovidenza!

However, there were three problems that bothered me:

First, the side tabs tended to bend out at an angle when installed and looked weird.

Second, there was a front tab but not a back tab, so the stand was able to slide up in the back and pivot, not holding the phone securely.

Third, the back was round so the rest point was right in the middle...but unfortunately iPhone 6/6S Plus phones are not weighted evenly, so one end would want to pull down a little more which would cause the phone to topple backwards and over to one end.

So I used Autodesk Inventor (did I mention that I love that program?) and about 10 minutes of my time, and came up with this new mix. This new riff fixes these issues:

First, you can see that the tabs that actually snap over the ends of your phone are angled in at the tips when the stand is not on your phone. This is so that when the stand is installed, the tabs bend out and appear straight.

Second, a back bar on each side tab has been added to provide support to the back of the iPhone so the stand stays straight and doesn't pivot up and let the iPhone slip.

Third, the back of the stand is now more of a rounded rectangle shape which provides a wider stance for the two resting points instead of one in the center. This provides much higher stability.

I hope you enjoy this improved stand. I have been using it for a few days and it seems to work really well.

You can print this in PLA or ABS and it will work very well for you with the default 50% fill.
