Description
This is a MakerGear M2 OctoPi control box and LCD cradle with mounting holes for Raspberry PI B+ running OctoPi. It will only work the the Raspberry Pi B+ due to the mounting holes. I was getting a bit frustrated with the stock Geetech LCD flopping about, and also wanted a solid mount for my Raspberry Pi B+. This provides both, and bolts to the right side of the M2 using the existing mounting screws (without the washers). The assembly pictures are pretty self explanatory. Assembly with Cyanoacrylate, except you'll probably want to leave the LCD box floating so it can be removed to access the Pi. You may need to drill a bit for the mounting screw holes to get a good fit. You can use a couple of pieces of 1.75mm clear filament cut at 45 degree angle and press fit into holes leading to Pi LEDs. If these overlap the LEDs, they act nicely as light pipes to see those LEDs on the front (power and activity).
