Description
In the deep dark cold of winter, stumbling out to the woodshed in the pitch black isn't so fun. So I made a headlight for my wheelbarrow using the guts of an Eveready 6V flashlight (see http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1071036 ).
There are many unprinted versions of the housing for the light -- the one seen here is the one named "bell housing with beefed up attachment post". The parts are painted with inexpensive appliance epoxy paint for weather proofing reasons. I wouldn't have really chosen beige except it was that or white, and I figured white would be silly on a wheelbarrow.
For the other versions of the lens housing, lighter posts are fine for non-vibrating uses. There are also some versions where the post and the housing are separate pieces which can be epoxied together later -- these will save support material.
