Summary

This is a printable thin film thickness gauge that measures up to 48 mil in 3 mil increments. Use it to measure how thick you've applied your paint or other coating by pressing it briefly onto the surface and noting the shortest finger that is wet.

However, the accuracy should not be compromised by using other extrusion widths. I recommend printing at the highest Z resolution possible on your printer to get more square corners and sides. I used a raft and only broke away the part under the fingers; if your bed is very flat and your z height is precisely calibrated, you can get away with no raft.</p></div>
