Description
In an effort to better understand OpenSCAD, I challenged myself to put together a little starbox generator. Use the SCAD file or Customizer to generate n-sided starburst containers. I've printed a few samples (sorry, I only have natural PLA), and the parameters are in the Print Settings below.
I find that these boxes print very nicely at 0.2 mm layer height in PLA. The lids snap onto the boxes nicely and hold in place if you have a well-calibrated printer. I'm using a Printrbot Simple Metal with an E3D V6 with a 0.4 mm nozzle. I usually print with a wall thickness of 0.8 mm (two shells), and a bottom wall thickness of 1.0 mm.
This is my first upload, so please feel free to comment and leave suggestions. Thanks!
