Laminate-Lamp v2.0 designed & created by Va_Le

I was looking for a lamp (I am a lighting technican) for christmas or birthday present for grandma / dad / mother / etc - but not a simple lamp - I wanted a lamp never gets booring!

Here it is! All mothers / grandmas and other familymembers are happy to get pictures from the family / the grandchild(s) / sweet textes - Now you can gift every birthday / christmas / ... a new cover for the lamp and the lamp NEVER EVER gets booring!

This ist the second version of my "Laminate Lamp". The first version was using too much filament and takes too long to print.

I wanted to create long time ago a lamp like this made from wood, but thats a lot ow work!
So I used my new awesome dremel 3D Printer to design & create this awesome lamp!

#HOW TO CREATE:

This lamp is designed for DIN A5 landscape paperformat.

• For the Lamp-Basement you'll need:
  your 3D printer, filament (I prefer white),
  a LED-Lamp which not gets too hot (Melting the Filament) -> E14 socket
  a Lamp-socket with E14 Size for the LED Lamp
  a cable with switch (if u want) to electrizZzze the Lamp)

The holes in the Lamp basement is created with 29mm diameter - keep in mind to buy a fitting socket.

• For the design you'll need:
  You only need a lamination-device, lamination sheets DIN A5, a writing program like Word and a normal boring laser- or ink-printer to print the pictures or texts you want to put around the lamp.

Create the lampcover you like or like to gift on word with normal portrait mode.
Add a column so u have 2 - one left one right. Now fill the columns with whatever you want. But only fill to the half of the DIN A4 paper!

Print your cration with the boring Printer to the A4-Sheet. Note you print it two times!
Now cut the boring printed theets down to DIN A5. put them together - back to back and infill the lamination foil. Let's laminate it! Do it!

Finished laminatig place the cration in landscape in front of you and cut off the top and the bottom welded parts. Now you can open it like a tube.

Put the other welding parts together and fold between the two columns right in the middle to get something like a cube. There must be 4 sides. on each side your created column.

The last step to enjoy the NEVER GETS BORING LAMP is to pull over the NEVER GETS BORING LAMP-COVER!

Switch the light on and make someone happy!

BE CAREFUL WITH ELECTRICITY! NEVER overestimate YOU!! NEVER underestimate ELECTRICITY! If you don't know what to do with electricity lamps AND what current is or can do (put the hands behind the head lay on the floor and) call an electrican!
NEVER DO SOMETHING YOU DON'T KNOW or HOW TO DO!

Version 2.1 of the lamp-base is already in workprocess with small fixes and changes.

I am new to 3D-Print so please forgive maybe wrong settings to print - if u can help me with better settings let me read in the comments
