Description
After building a rustic chest by hand from pine for one of my children, I thought it would be fun to design and build others via laser cutter. It turned out more beautiful than I anticipated, especially after organizing the cuts for a grain matched look.
The design assumes 5mm plywood (1/4" plywood).
Extra small parts are cut in case a piece breaks or the piece finds a resin pocket in the plywood.
The 2D diagram layout assumes a 0.2mm laser kerf.
