Peristaltic Pump Improved for Nema 17

Hello all,

It's been almost 11 years since I posted this model and I am still getting E-mails and requests about it. Please note that I no longer have the original design files for this model as I created it in a very old version of Sketchup that is no longer available. Perhaps one day I will make a new one in Fusion - but as it stands, I have no ability anymore to make any changes to this model. I also very rarely use Thingiverse anymore, so it's likely I won't see you message for a very long time.
I've cross-posted this model on both Printables.com and makerworld.com, so you can also find it there. I frequent those repositories much more often, so there's a much better chance of getting a response there if you have a question.

I really appreciate all the comments from this model over the years and I'm really happy to see how many makes and how people have used this.

I am no longer updating this, so consider this a final design. I’ve used mine for many years now and it’s still going strong, so I think I’ve achieved my goal.

This is a remix of the excellent design of Ralf's Perstaltic pump. I printed his pump and built it to his specs, but I found that the small stepper motors would not really run the pump consistently or with enough power.
I decided to modify the pump to accept a Nema 17 stepper. This gives the pump PLENTY of power to push whatever liquid that you're trying to push. I had to beef up the bearing holders a bit. I also added some mounts. There's a single pump mount and a 4 pump mount. (I'm using to add fertilizers to my aquarium, so I use the 4 pump version).
I'm still using the same bearings and screws that Ralf is using, so you can get a list of the required screws and bearings from his thing. There are countersunk holes in the pump base to mount the motor. If you don't use the motor mount, I've included a spacer to use in it's place.
The washer goes in-between the bearing and the bearing holder assembly on both sides. You can also use metal washers, but I found you can adjust the printed ones for a perfect fit.
