Lulzbot Taz LCD + Raspberry Pi Case

LULZBOT TAZ LCD w/ Pi Enclosure

This is a custom LCD mount for the Lulzbot Taz that includes a mounting location with wire holes for a Raspberry Pi to run Octoprint (webpage based print server).

The goals of the LCD were this:

• Allow a Pi to be mounted with the LCD (and get Pi off my desk)
• Use the same mounting hardware as the original LCD enclosure
• Provide easy access for wires in side of case
• Keep volume to a reasonable size

NOTE: You will most likely need a left angle micro USB cable to power the Pi due to space limitations. These can be found pretty cheaply on Newegg and Amazon (or your country's equivalent mega store) You will also need 4x M2.5 6mm bolts from your local hardware store to mount the Pi

The OpenSCAD source file is also attached to allow for easy modification and remixes. Have fun with it and throw me a remix hook so I can see your cool mod ideas.

Future Upgrades

Here are a list of things I would like to add in the future if I can get around to it:

• Add a slot for the SD card. Don't need it with Octoprint but would be a nice option in scad
• Add a mount on the back for a Raspberry Pi Camera angled to watch the bed
