Traxxas Spartan Driveline Alignment Fitting

The purpose of this part is to permanently align the stuffing tube, transom, and strut of the Traxxas Spartan. It is designed to replace the rubber transom plug (#5725) with a solid fitting to engage the transom and stuffing tube. The fitting also engages the transom mounted strut (#5727, #5727R, or like) of the boat resulting in constant alignment.

Through extensive testing we have found this to be the main issue with the design of the boat. The tube has excessive mobility in the transom and the strut has excessive mobility in it's mounting to the transom. The misalignment between these three parts leads to accelerated wear and reliability issues. The misalignment also contributes to the poor performance of the boat for example: torque roll, chine walking, and loss of speed.
We will be continuing development of this part as time allows to improve functionality including but not limited to: cooling pickups, ride pad/transom fixes, changes, & modifications.

Version 0.6 Pre-Release pending further long term testing and modification.

The entire concept was researched and developed in house and may be revised within the purpose outlined above.
Stay tuned for further changes Including a separate version for use with the larger diameter stuffing tube that has become a popular modification for the Spartan.
