Battery pack for Lafayett DC-155 micro 3+

Made this battery pack for a friends hunting radio.
The battery cells was bad. Could have bought a new battery pack but how fun is that.
Original pack has six R03/AAA cells. This box is made to fit six R6/AA cells.
The original pack can be seen in some of the pictures.
I welded the new batteries together including a thermostat of the same type that is used in the original.
The top/lid is meant to be glued on once the batteries are installed.
I cut two pices out of a brass plates to act as contacts and soldered wires between the batteries and plates. Included a insulation board for good measure although I do not think it is needed as the batteries fit very snug.

This was my first ever 3D creation attempt and the box could have been made better looking. Funktion is ok though. Slides in and out of the radio just like the original and my friend has used it for a couple of months now without any problems.
