Description
I built this as a filament guide for my printer, i have my drybox on top of the enclosure and run my filament in the back wall, so i needed a nice 180* turnaround for the material, its intended to be mounted on 1/8" flatbar (i am using aluminum 3/4" x 1/8") with a single m3 (or similar) machine screw and nut, the bearing used is a standard skateboard bearing 8mm inside 22mm outside and 7mm wide. And i intend to glue the "cap" piece in place after inserting the bearing and roller piece, it will likely all need some post work (sanding) as i intended the piece on the outer of the bearing to be press fit.
I tried to design it to be printed easily without supports.
the first version was a little tight turn, and the filament would fall off, so i designed a couple more models, larger as well, same bearing, i did print and currently use "v2" but it does require more material, so i designed but untested v3.
Edit again: I've been using v2 a couple months since i designed it, works well.
