Description
I'm quite new in the maker-community. So this is one of my first designs i'm sharing here.
I really enjoy 3D-Printing for it brings people like me the freedom to bring their ideas to reality. But i was a litte worried of the smell and the particle emissions during the printing process- especially after reading the article posted by RodLaird (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1352231013005086)- Thank you for the post by the way.
So I decided to create an own scrubber for my Printer.
Ot uses a normal filter for facial masks wich is tightend by a foam sealing inside of the housing. A quite strong fan pulls the air through the filter. It was pretty difficult to find an appropriate fan. But finally i found one by ebm-papst, type 612 JH.
I run it with 6V wich is more than enough for my lttle printer to prevent smell emmissions.
Also an electrical connection is included in the housing.
I mounted this on top of the printer at the top window an it works very good.
Please print this one upside down.
I hope you find this one usefull and please feel free to share your thoughts with me.
