Description

This is a desk lamp I designed in Fusion 360. http://a360.co/1SYqRtg
I wanted to see if I was still much slower in Fusion vs Soldiworks, Took me about an hour and a half to model up. So not so much. Though Fusion is way more awkward in reference geometry and surfaces. The lack of 3d sketches is no good either.

I designed it around the parts I found in the lamp repair section. See if you can match up the parts in the photo to replicate it. You may have to adjust some of the dimensions in the model.

The lamp screws down to the table with 1 3/4" #8 screws.

The diffuser is made from copier paper. Pdf attached.

It takes around 300g of plastic at 35% infil with 3shells and supports. Make sure to print the parts so that the grain runs parallel to the arms and not around the perimeter.

2x innie
2x outie
1x everything else

needs 40mm M8 Bolts and Nuts
