Wind Turbine Airfoil for Vertical Axis Turbine

This airfoil is for a vertical axis wind turbine. This parts are the prototypes. I am not finshed with construction and testing.
I used an origninal symetric NACA Airfoil for the vertical axis rotor blades.

What do you need to assemble?

       -8mm rod (aluminium or steel) 

Assembling:

You just need to push the airfoils on the rod to connect them. I think the rods should be at least 720mm(because one airfoil is 90mm high) long to get some energy.

Power:
I think it is possible to generate about 100 watts with 3 rotorblades with a height of 900mm.

To Do:

• Finish the prints for three big turbine blades
• Assembling the blades to a windturbine
• Power tests
• Automatic storm control (turn the blades out of the wind)
