Description
In front of the local Boy Scouts headquarters here in Sioux Falls, SD is a wonderful bronze copy of R. Tait McKenzie's "The Ideal Scout" or "Boy Scout" as he's more widely known.
This life-sized copy stands proudly on a block of the local stone, pink Sioux quartzite. He's one of many copies that stand all over the United States and overseas. Please see this Wikipedia link for more information on the original:
