Tom Clancy's The Division Functional Comms Module

****SEP 10th 2018 UPDATE!!! I will further improve this model and try to put it up on shapeway so people without 3D printers can make them! I will post a notification here when it's done. I am sorry if I couldn't reply to you guys in the PAST COUPLE OF YEARS (yeah I know...). Things were crazy since my Junior year of college. And if Ubisoft lives up to the hype, I will see you guys in DC!

This is a comms module for the video game Tom Clancy's The Division, some people refer it as a shoulder beacon or a computer, but here it's just a fancy radio pouch.

It has or could have the following features depends on how far are you willing to take it.

1. Working orange LED ring (the most important feature);
2. Charging Port
3. Working communication capability (Yes! It functions like the "real" thing, minus the holograph)

Please follow the orientation of the print as the picture shown for optimal quality. (Pictures with Zortrax logo on upper right comer).

Updates:
2/9/2016: The case should be able to be assemble after print now, everything is snap fit, no screw/glue needed. Also added a small lid for future LED control switch.
2/9/2016: Lower Case updated, one possible fitting issue with the small lid fixed.
2/9/2016: Lower / Upper Case updated, added attachment points for the shoulder sling of the backpacks (might need velcro belts or zip ties).
2/12/2016: Added screw holes on upper case for LED mounting, added neopixel base plate for neopixel LED ring. Photo showing the LED ring
2/12/2016: *Added LED Light Diffuser and Orange Halo components, be ware some of those parts needs to be printed in clear filament, there are .DWG files for laser cutting as well. *
2/14/2016: Updated Lower Casing, Lower Cap, and Upper Cap for overall fitting issues. Added details and fitting for Baofeng UV-3r walkie talkie, detail instructions will be available soon once the antenna is complete.
2/16/2016: Added list of Non-3D printed parts for the project
2/17/2016: Antenna Frame done
2/18/2016: Assembly test done! Everything is set! However I will wait for a week till I change it from Work In Progress to make sure nothing else comes up.
2/29/2016: Comms test done, everything that's 3D printed is at its final version, I am just doing some wiring now.

As for the neopixel LED ring, I recently found some interesting replacement that could require less work, you can try using EL Panels, those glowing sheets can be cut into any shape you want, you just need to find the right color filter to cover on top, however it's also a little dim so it probably wont work so well at day.
