Description
The video will show you what you will need and the steps to make a battery that has enough power to light up a small LED.
How to build this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdGPC-sCg-A
Some notes not in the video:
You can use cloth, napkins, or cardboard as a replacement for the grill wipes, I just had the best results the wipes.
The zinc will oxidize, the vinegar will evaporate causing the battery to stop working after a few hours.
Add salt to the vinegar and stir until it dissolves. This will create a stronger acid and give you a higher voltage.
You don't have to use all 9 pennies. Just stop when you have 6 volts.
