Improved version of my flexible landing gear for MikeyB's quadcopter "Crossfire".

After some stress testing (hard landings and scratching on asphalt) I detected that they were too flexible, so I improved the stability. This updated version is more stable while still being flexible enough to reduce hard shocks from uncontrolled landings (especially made by beginners).

It's also now 45 degrees instead of 60 degrees relative to the arms.

The idea behind the opened and bended shape is to allow flexibility not only for bending the leg but also for pushing it (shrinking in length). This also dampens shocks when landing "diagonally" oriented, which might happen to beginners every now and then...

The landing gears are long enough to protect the battery (they stand out normally about 8cm and if bended about 7cm measured from the bottom plate), however if you carry a camera on the bottom you should check and maybe enlarge them as needed. Take about 1 - 1.5cm of flexibility into account when doing so.
