I made an enclosure for my Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2 from an Ikea cupboard. I got the instructions here.

I mounted the spool holder on top and drilled a hole to feed the filmant through. The thing is that the cupboard is not made from solid wood, but rather thin sheets and honeycomb which you are gonna feel whenever you are feeding filament through. Just print the tube and jam it in the hole for easy feeding.

Do NOT drill the hole directly over the printhead as it will have the filament rub against the top of the frame. I tried and I am not ashamed enough to edit it out of the pictures. Rather drill a bit in front of the printhead.

As for the rest of the enclosure for those curious: The printer is standing a few sheets of cardboard glued together with some "planks" on the bottom cut from the packing foam the printer came in. This absorps a lot of vibrations making the printer much more quiet since vibration does not carry out through your apartment. If you get a 2m LED strip it will fit the top of the cupboard perfectly and you can feed the wire through the mounting hole on the back.

UPDATE 12/8/2016: If you want spool holders, grab yourself some Capita legs while at Ikea. The model on the picture holds two spool per leg.

UPDATE 30/12/2016: The cupboard is not build to stand on a table with the heave door on it and it will start slanting. You can fix this by putting screws in diagonal corners and tighten some string between them to keep it study. You can do this cheaply using some nuts and bolts like on the picture.
