Description
This thing adapts a ZWO ASI Camera (or other CCDs with a C Mount) using a DSLR lens (here a Nikon lens) to use with telescope mounts. It also carries a finder dovetail shoe.
There are two versions of the actual holder: One is a two part and clamps the adapter with screws, the other one uses cable ties.
You need some M4 bolts and nuts to assemble it. In the camera holder there is space for a 1/4"-20 UNC Nut to mount it alone on a photo mount.
I used a "Nikon F AI mount adaptor for C mount 16mm Film Mount" to put my Nikon Lens on my ASI 120MC. They are also avaible for Canon etc.

For my Nikon Lens I needed also a "Macro Extension Tube Ring for C-mount Lens 25.4mm" which gives 5mm more backfocus to get infinity focus. For other ASI Cams or other lens manufacturers you may need a different extension!

The demo images are taken in a urban environment with much light pollution and the ASI120MC is a planet camera, so I am happy with the result! Taken with SharpCap latest beta and using the live stacking.
