Description

My new design using my own 3D printer! The goal was to make a very light frame so i can carry as heavy a battery as possible. The arms are designed to minimise blocking the airflow from the props, and the motors easily snap into the holders (push up from below and tilt the top inbetween the top clips).
It has an optional "hard top" that neatly snaps into the slots on each side to protect the contents and add some extra rigidity with minimal weight. Also added vertical spikes to easily rubberband the battery to the belly (see photos).

I prefer to keep my drones modular so the camera+TX form a neat FPV backpack, sitting in the front. Use a few drops of hot glue to hold the FCB and the FPV backpack in place.

Flies very well, didn't crash yet so don't know how much it can survive :)

Since i'm printing on super-sticky BuildTak, lifted the flat base so it can be removed from the bed :) So a printer with decent bridging capabilities is a must (i use an active cooling fan).
