G2S Magnetic Rod Adapter

This is an adapter for installing Carbon Rods with Magnetic Bearings onto the Geeetech Delta G2S printer. Its design centers the ball joint on the axis of the 6mm mounting hole, so the adapter may be rotated to any orientation without affecting alignment of the rods. These were designed for use with my Universal Effector System and 3-Bearing Carriages, but should fit the original versions as well. Rod length is 215mm, weight (including adapters) is about 2/3 of what the original metal rods weighed.

You will need a full set of 12 adapters to complete installation of the 6 rods. M3x16mm screws are used to afix the adapters into the stock 6mm rod mounting holes. I suggest using locking style M3 nuts to keep everything tight.
