Description
I am a bit OCD and wanted to hide my endstop and extruder wiring in the center channel of my 4040 v slot on my Big Delta. I designed these feet to attach to the bottom of my 4040 verticals to do accomblish the following:
--Raise the printer off the ground a bit to allow more vertical height to install psu/electronics/wiring.
--Allow access to the center channel to run wiring from the electronics at the bottom of my printer, to the end stops and extruder compoenents at the top of the printer
--Reduce surface area of contact with carpet to prevent the frame from wobbling.
I am using openbuilds 4040 v slot, and I used openbuilds low profile m5x30mm bolts and some m5 washers.
9/7/2016 - I got these printed and installed. They work great and allow me to hide my wiring in the center channel. I am marking this as complete. I added some photos. NOTE: the printer is upside down for installation in these photos, but I am also thinking about using these as top caps as well.
