Summary

This is a 3D model of the Oneplus Two. I created it as a reference to design parts for it.
The doubly-curved geometry of the rear surface was the trickiest part to model, and it is as close as possible to the shape that I obtained through a 3D scan of the phone.

rev. 1: outer dimensions fixed. Small discrepancies still present, as the edges of the phone aren't straight but slightly angled...

How I Designed This

Step 1: pictures for 3D model

I added two additional intermediate segments, to better capture the curvature (2 and 2').<br>The lateral edges were simply straight lines (3 and 3') and, once more, to capture the curvature I added two additional segments along the height (4).<br>A Multi-Sections surface was then created over these lines.</p></div>                <p class="detail-image"><img src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/70/14/23/b8/03/surface.PNG"></p>                <div><p>I then extruded the body up to this surface, and added details (usb port, loudspeaker holes, side buttons...).</p></div>                <p class="detail-image"><img src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/85/2a/10/41/aa/3D_model.PNG"></p>                <div><p>By comparing, in MeshLab, the reconstructed mesh and the 3D model, you can see a good match.</p></div>                <p class="detail-image"><img src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/17/c6/b2/8e/8b/3D_mesh.PNG"></p>
