Summary

This is my first print that I made from beginning to end. I took measurements from a toy robot that my sister has (Julian CubeBot) and recreated it in SketchUp. Companion dog

Post-Printing

Requirements

            <div><p>1/6" drill bit (preferably one with a hex shank)<br>Elastic cord (1.2 mm)<br>Needle with a large eye<br>Pliers</p></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>Step 1</strong></p>            <div><p>Use the 1/6" drill bit and clean out the "tunnels" in preparation for the elastic cord. This is where that hex shank comes in handy. I did not attach the drill bit to my drill, I simply twisted the drill bit by hand into the pieces. Worked like a charm.</p></div>                <p class="detail-title"><strong>Step 2</strong></p>            <div><p>Thread the Elastic cord through the "tunnels" of the robot. Tie a knot in one end, pull the elastic as tight as you can without breaking it, and tie a knot in the other end. There should be  4 pieces of elastic: 2 for the feet, legs and into the pelvis, 1 for the hand,arm, into the chest though the other arm and ending in the hand, 1 through head, chest and into the pelvis. Feeding the elastic through the "tunnels" was tough. What worked for me was threading the elastic into a fat needle, pushing the needle through the piece, and pulling it through with a pair of pliers.</p></div>
