This is a complete rework of the carriage assembly for the Sunhokey Prusa i3 2015 model. Might be usable on other Prusa clones too.
This is a mashup with Tech2C's E3D mount and 13DjjC13's x carriage along with my own modifications. I did all the modifications within 3dsmax. The main things here I did was made it so I could mount Tech2C's mount to 13DjjC13's carriage. Along with that, I made the following changes to Tech2C's excellent mount.
- I added a bracket to support the cooling fan for the hotend-heatsink.
- Utilizing the added 40mm heatsink fan, I added a bracket where you can attach a LED light.
- I modified the E3D clamp slightly, and added an additional piece to guide the wires.
- I adjusted the z-probe to use a set screw instead of the traditional nuts, which aren't suited for quick adjustments and can rattle loose.
- I made the fan duct adjustable, and made other tweaks to help point the airflow directly under the tip.
- I adjusted the model to fit a 40mm turbo fan. (Now, I know a 50mm is more traditional for turbofans, but what I happened to have was a 40mm fan. So, I may make a variation for a 50mm if I get my hands on one.)
