Description
This is a y-axis stabilization kit for the Solidoodle 3. One of the things you'll notice with the SD3 is that nozzle drag occasionally causes significant vibrations in the y-axis, especially at the end of the build platform. This is a problem for many, MANY printers.
This kit solves the problem. It requires three non-printed parts: a carbon fiber (or aluminum) rod and two 11mm bearings. It can be easily modified for whatever you have lying around, though.
You're also welcome to break apart the kit and make whatever you want from the parts. It should be easy to modify for any other printer that has a build platform and something to ride the bearings against.
