Mod for Illuminated Arcade Button to use RGB and NeoPixels

There is a specific type of illuminated arcade buttons available on several online stores that comes as a set of pieces and let attach a 5mm led and a microswitch.

While those buttons are relatively cheap and easy to use, they are limmited recarding the type of leds that can be used. Especially the led socket does only expose two connectors and therefore does not allow to use rgb leds or neopixels as they require 4 connectors for the led.

This replacement led socket allows to mount a 5 mm led and has two small channels, big enough to contain ribbon cables, each at least 3 wires. That allows to attach one incoming ribbon cable and another outgoing ribbon cable to daisy-chain neopixels (see picture).
