Description
Here are basic parts to help you develop a lesson on optics when you're on a budget. I was able to pick up a lens set on eBay for $25, but did not wish to buy a laser set that is designed for that kit due to the high cost. Originally, I used a 2x4 with three 15mm holes drilled into it( as seen in the video), but now that I have a printer, I decided to make it smaller and better. The kit has an index card holder, a laser pointer adapter, and support. There are holes set for magnets if you wish to mount to a whiteboard. The holder is tapered for the on button of the pointer, and once the pointer is in place, it will remain on. eBay has inexpensive pointers. I use red, green, and blue for effect, but red is the safest choice. I will eventually upload printable lens molds for use with clear gel wax if the acrylic lens kits are too expensive.
