Description
A new test with Buckminster Fuller's fly-eye dome geometry. It is based on the icosahedron geometry, projecting circles onto a sphere. In this case, from vortexes and centers of faces.
The design has been generated with a Rhino-Grasshopper parametric models that allows to modify several things such as radia of openings, depth, and radius of the sphere. I would say it is an ongoing project.
The file that i have actually printed is the first one in the series.
