Headtracking Clips for FreeTrack

6DOF headtracking clips to be used with FreeTrack, TrackHat or other similar headtracking systems.

I created two versions of clips to keep the two halves of the arms together. One version leaves the LEDs exposed while the other is to be used as a light diffuser. The diffuser clips should be printed with white filament for obvious reasons :)

Initially I created the arm clips to fit exactly over the 8mm section of the arms but my printer isn't perfectly calibrated and there was an extra layer of plastic from the arm supports so I also made a version with an 8.7mm inner section that fits perfectly over the arms.

So far I've only created a headphone clip because I had some old USB headphones lying around and I figured it would be easier to power the LEDs from the headphones instead of using batteries.

I will also create a head mounted clip some time in the future.
