K8200/3Drag Cooling Fan Mount for 50mm 5015s Fan, Upgrade

ClipOn Fan mount for standard 5015s (50x15mm) centrifugal fan used in many 3D printers today (as Prusa i3 MK2). Mount is the blue part on the picture.

The cooler fan that comes with the K8200 kit is far from optimal - with unfocused part cooling.
Radial fans have become more common, they are more compact and delivers higher air pressure.

The fan mount is angled to get as close as possible to the E3D Extruder, without cooling the hot end or the bed unnecessary. The model has tiny slots to force the slicing software to generate more material in some areas, giving the mount extra rigidity.

The mount should fit with the standard K8200 hot-end (not tested).

Assembly and connection:
In addition to the fan you will need two M4 20mm hex screws with M4 nuts. Press the clip onto the Z-axis aluminum profile, it will make a tight snap, fit and lock.

Electrically connect the new fan the same way as the old.
