FILAMENT FEEDER (composite)

this is a composite horizontal filament feeder, that can take any type of spindle.
There is very little force needed to rotate the filament spindle so the design can be made even flimsier than the prototype I made today.

By the way, the star shaped bottom part can be dropped altogether and the rotation disk glued or screwed onto a suitable platform

the non printed parts are:
1 off the shelf 58mmx58mm rotation disk (ignore photo)
1 piece of 30mm tube 10-15cm (any material will do)
4 screws Dia
5mm x 10 with nut aYnd washer (this is not really necesary if you have some good glue like megafix)
and
1 bottom plate/foot (use anything even a dinnerplate or a piece of square plywood) and glue the starshaped foot to the plate.

The 30 mm tube just need to be 'tapped' into the tube holder and the inner construction will hold it tight.
I will make inserts that fit the different types of spindles and add the files as I go
