Pocket box

Small pocket-sized box with rounded edges and button closure. Maximum opening 120º.

Instructions:

• Print the two halves with 0.4 mm or less of layer height. Being flat pieces of a certain size, it is necessary a good adhesion to the bed to avoid warping. The hairspray on the glass is not enough.

• Print the two pieces of the closing mechanism with 0.1 mm of layer height.

• Depending on the accuracy of the printer, it may be necessary to check the two parts of the closure, the hooks on the top and the hinges knuckles with a watchmaker file until everything fits and slides correctly.

• Glue the largest part of the lock into the corresponding hole in the bottom part box. If you have printed in ABS, use PVC cement.

• Once dry, place the spring and the opening button, and put a 0.6 mm diameter wire pin in the part of the button protruding into the inside of the box.

• Put a 0.7 mm diameter wire as a hinge pin.

Se trata de una pequeña caja de tamaño bolsillo con los bordes redondeados y con cierre de botón. Apertura máxima 120º.

Instrucciones:

• Imprimir las dos mitades con 0,4 mm o menos de altura de capa. Al ser piezas planas de cierto tamaño, es necesario una buena adhesión a la cama caliente para evitar el warping. La laca del pelo sobre el cristal no es suficiente.

• Imprimir las dos piezas del mecanismo de cierre con 0,1 mm de altura de capa.

• Dependiendo de la precisión de la impresora, puede ser necesario repasar con una lima de relojero las dos piezas del cierre, los ganchos de la parte superior y las bisagras para que todo encaje y se deslice correctamente.

• Cuando todo encaje, pegar la pieza mayor del cierre en el hueco correspondiente de la parte inferior de la caja. Si has imprimido en ABS, usa pegamento para PVC.

• Una vez seco, colocar el muelle y el botón de apertura, y poner un pasador de alambre de 0,6 mm de diámetro en la parte del botón que sobresale en el interior de la caja.

• Poner un alambre de 0,7 mm de diámetro como pasador de las bisagras.
