This is a simple Empanadilla Maker (turnover maker).
Empanadillas, also known in Puerto Rico as empanadas or pastelillos, are baked or fried pastries. Here in Puerto Rico we eat them stuffed with a lot of things, like meat, chicken, pizza sauce and cheese, guava paste, shrimp... you name it. The are really good! This little device is used to fold the empanadilla and close the seam. Since the PLA I used may not be the safest, I use the same paper that separates the pastry to fold them, avoiding the food from touching the plastic. Just in case... That also keeps it clean.
You will ned two 5mm screws for the hinge. You may want to print some plastic screws for this. The hinge does not take too much load.
