Description
Since the Tronxy is a different size then the Anet none of the Anet specific braces I found would fit my machine. This one is exactly 266mm from horizontal connecting edge to horizontal connecting edge, not counting the side supports. It's designed to be a friction fit between the upper and lower horizontal panels behind the lead screws and guides which on my machine were 265.87mm apart. It must be tapped in from the side gently and loosening the screws on that side will help a bit. The left side brace requires removal of the X axis stepper to fit in place. Make sure you check the inside of the connecting surfaces for any blobs as they would affect the fit. I'm sure the fit may need to be tuned a bit depending on your printers actual size and capability but minor tweaks should be possible without to much effort. The parts of the braces that push against the vertical supports are on the back side of the braces so they are hidden from view.
Engineering note: Technically any friction fit piece will gradually loosen if exposed to enough vibration but I think this one is pretty solid since it is squeezed against three different surfaces on each end. If your vertical pieces have holes in them you can run a few small zip ties through the holes and around the brace to put some additional tension on it and ensure it has no where to go but its plenty tight as is
