Description
I made this spoon for Elsha, with measurements she gave me. She suffers from muscular dystrophy since her birth and reached out for help via our forums (http://www.thingiverse.com/groups/things-with-actual-uses/topic:11607#comment-1236363). The disease degenerates a patients muscles over time, Elsha has this disease since her birth.
She is doing a lot of artwork with only her head(https://www.facebook.com/u2elshanator). When I first got her spoon measurements I thought someone was making fun of me, but Elsha reached out for me via Facebook where I saw pictures of her and then everything made sense to me.
This is the printed prototypes, luckily I recently got a Form2 to print this delicate design.
Here is a video of the spoon https://youtu.be/Ae80t6pXSvo
The foto shows a metric scale, the print process and the post-curing.
